Super Street and PRO MOD rules for 2007
I received an e-mail from a racer with concerns about 2007 Super Street rules. Below is my response to the e-mail. NO NEW RULE CHANGES IN SUPER STREET IN 2007! Except for the scatter shield, which will be required in 2007 and was noted in the 2006 Rule Book. However it was just brought to my attention that there was a typo in the 2006 rule book! It said 1500lbs min for cars running Weber IDA bodied carbs and 1600lbs for the larger IDA copies (BERG 58's, Terminators, and so on). The rules should have read "1500lbs min for cars running Weber IDA bodied carbs and 1550lbs for cars with the larger IDA copies". Also there will be NO RULE CHANGES IN PRO MOD IN 2007! Thanks, Kevin
