Kevin, Bill and I came up with 6:00 and 7:30 for Saturday. Is this ok ? Call me. Steve.

A.J.Sims- 04-28-2008

Steve thats good amount of time from 1st to 2 round. I like the space!!!! this way we can still sit back and check out some of the Ship talking racing from the cal-look fourm!!! :D

D. Paul Logan- 04-28-2008

I see no mention of the Grudge Matches that everyone wants to have Saturday night. Any word on that?

A.J.Sims- 04-28-2008

I would hope the lanes are still open as there is going to be a 1 1/2 hour delay from round 1 to 2.

Kevin, Bill and I cam up with 6:00 and 7:30 for Saturday. Is this ok ? Call me. Steve. Looks good to me Steve! I will call you tomorrow around our usual commute/conference time… If you want to talk sooner your more than welcome to call me anytime, I know your busy during work hours..

I see no mention of the Grudge Matches that everyone wants to have Saturday night. Any word on that? Paul why would there be? I haven’t seen it mentioned anywhere where anyone contacted the Promoter regarding having grudge matches included in the schedule. I imagine they will have to be done during the open -*test*-('") sessions time. I can just about guarantee that there not going make special arrangements for them to happen after qualifying! But that’s just my thought…

Kevin Reynolds PRA Thank you for setting this straight, I will now get a hotel room for Saturday night ……. I don’t won’t to put my spoon in the pot …..But ….. I would have thought the PRA would have been thinking about saving the racers money…….. you know the gas prices and all…….. Now we need to spend $100 + because we are now doing two runs on Saturday……JMHO Thank you all for all your hard work, I hate posting this but it is the way I feel……………… just one person feed back Jon Schweers

Just curious as to what prompted the changes and do the gates still open at 2pm Saturday?

D. Paul Logan- 04-28-2008

So on saturday The Schedule is: OPEN TNT- 5:00 to 6:00 1st. Round Qualifying- 6:00 to 7:00 2nd Round Qualifying- 7;00 to 8:00 is this correct? if NOT, could you please post the tenative schedule?

Kevin Reynolds- 04-29-2008

Just curious as to what prompted the changes and do the gates still open at 2pm Saturday? Mike I believe it was a number of things. Including but not limited to; Allowing for an actual lunch break, Completing the event on schedule(which cuts out some of the overtime paid to the track employees), having more spectators in the stands during eliminations, and it should also allow the PRA Classes more time in their pits to make any adjustment and or repairs before eliminations. I will be talking to Steve tomorrow the 29th, and I will ask him about the gate opening. I would guess it's not changing as the Bugorama crew is usually prepping the car show area, pits, swap area, and preparing their staff for the event. And this is taking place sometimes up to the time when the gates open.

Scott Fetherolf- 04-29-2008

I like the new format. It allows us to hopefully get an earlier start on the way home Sunday night. As for the grudge racing, we plan on skipping the 2nd round qualifier to have some fun... :D
