Just leave it alone...its too late ...again! The bigger problem will be the economy. Without big money on the line, I personally will not be traveling unless the world changes and people have money to play again. As for a points circiut, we need to look at a claimed three out of five race series to protect the racer from hugh expense. I think many of you are looking at your wallets as well and asking, " Is racing VWs in the budget for 2009?"

You know I wont be there. I will not be available to tele conference on such short notice. Family stuff. This is an example of poor management! Last minute decisions that impact other are not looked upon in a good light by some. Without a safe guard, I am uncomfortable with this. As you recall last year was a disaster when the participants of the class seemed to have little impact on decisions. I can not expect the Lauffers to drop and run on my behalf either. Can you possibily do this with a weeks notice.

Jason our I can't make it. my opinion is that we should allow a 100# wieght drop if you run a type 1 gearbox as we increase our HP we are losing gear parts with all the extra weight we must carry. we have done -*test*-('")ing before at a much lower weight and the car is safe at speed and goes very strieght. we would still have to weight over 1700 lbs with this decrease. With the economy the way it is to step up to a Mendy would be very costly not to mention getting the suspention to work like it does now. Please take this into consideration it might also open the door for others like us with older type cars to want to come in and play. Jerry
