Eric Madson- 01-25-2007

Matt...I thank you also.

Rich Grise'- 01-25-2007

Eric, I also tried including s/s to the deal. You are correct in that everybody could use the help. My sponsor had seen the Eric's, and Pat run and decided to get his feet wet, but only with p/m. Definately not trying to exclude the s/s guy's. I will keep trying for them to.

Eric Madson- 01-26-2007

I thank you again Rich. This is what an association does..looks after all of its members. I would not be surprised to see others follow your dedication. I am also interested in bringing sponsorship......THIS IS WHY I RECOMMEND A RACERS BOARD......in conjunction with the PRA leadership. To help! To grow! More eyes and ears makes for a better association for all. This is only a statement of support for what the current leadership is doing and a call to all racers for help in growth.

I am not sure how this is working, but I will give 25.00 to P/M as well as S/S to run our sticker. Before I put my foot in my mouth somebody tell me how it all works I will be glad to give something to the high dollar cars in those two classes. Tell me if I am off base here, I have to claim ignoance in how it works, I am willing to do something for both classes or at least one....Tell what needs to be done and I'll figure something out to help out those classes....

Kevin Reynolds- 03-07-2007

Please Note! CB Performance was inadvertently listed by mistake before conformation and due to prior sponsorship commitments will not be able to participating in the 2007 contingency program. We know they are committed to the sport by their generous sponsorship at many events throughout the years and their continued sponsorship today. We wish them the best and hope to possibly work with them in 2008. Thanks Kevin Reynolds PRA

As I said in the previous post I would be happy to step up and offer something if I knew how it worked. I got no reply so I am to assume that no help is needed and the racers don't need any more money. Trying to give away some money here , but I can't get a response out of anyone that it would pretain to.

Post up what you would like to see for sponsorship from a company. Myself and another company are interested.

A.J.Sims- 03-08-2007

PRA Contingency Program We are working on the Contingency Program that will start off in three of our classes this year, S/C S/G and S/M. If all works out, next year we will be adding P/M and S/S. PE may follow if it becomes mandatory that you must be a PRA member to enter the class. At this time PE is still open to anyone that wants to enter. This year we’re starting with just a basic program in which each Sponsor will post to the winner of each of the three classes $25. We plan to have 15 to 20 sponsors that will require you to only run their sticker to be eligible for the contingency. You can run the Sponsor stickers you choose, or run them all. You will be given only one pair of each Sponsors stickers that you sign up to run, and will be required to run the stickers throughout the year. Racers will be responsible for replacement if they should be removed. Stickers will have to be placed in full view on both the Left and Right sides of the car. Placing stickers on the front, on the rear, on the roof, or under the car is not acceptable. Upon completion of each event the Sponsors will be notified of who the winners were in each class. It will then be the racers responsibility to contact the sponsor, thank them for their sponsorship and collect their contingency. We have informed each sponsor that this is a no tolerance program. Each sponsor will pay in check, cash or money order. No gift certificates or store credit is permitted. If you would like to be a sponsor or know of a business that would, please have them contact us at 714-639-4284 or e-mail at racepra@yahoo.com . Your business does not have to be a VW related to be a sponsor. Max paid by any one sponsor at an event is $75. Sponsors must commit to all races for the season.

Kevin Reynolds- 03-09-2007

Kona and Matt, Please contact AJ @ 714-639 4284. He would be glad to speak with you reguarding sponsoring classes. Thanks Kevin

I am interested in putting up a bounty for ET and MPH records broken in Pro Mod. If there is a new record at the end of every race, then so be it. THATS what I am hoping to see! No need to run my sticker. Just know where it came from.

A.J.Sims- 04-02-2007

Greg Urrutia- 04-19-2007

I would like to congratulate all the winners in their respective classes at the first PRA event of 2007. I would also like to thank the PRA, especially AJ for inviting me in to be a contingency sponsor. I want to add an even bigger Thank You to the racers that chose to run my decal. I haven't heard from any of the winners yet, and from the pictures I've seen I believe there is at least one class winner that was sporting one. Send me your mailing address or paypal address and I will send out the reward I pledged ASAP. Best of Luck to all the PRA Racers for the rest of the 2007 season. Regards, Greg Urrutia gregsvw.com "Proud Contingency Sponsor of the PRA"
