I can't post under the thread started in another section so I thought I would put this picture up here. This is what I have under my new project car. It needs a little refining but othrwise appears to meet all of the NHRA requirments.

Looks good Jerry, thats more than the required 2" lip for sure. That is a good idea of the mounting system, a steel ring around the exhaust pipes to hold half of the Dzus fastner.
